YEREVAN. – Azerbaijani hackers are using new methods to attack the Armenian web users, cyber-security expert Samvel Martirosyan told reporters on Thursday.

He explained that the hackers decided to use new methods by attacking routers of the Armenian users.

“Azerbaijan hackers have recently managed to crack several routers. The problem is many users are unaware of their router password. As soon as everything is ready for an attack, hackers get an access shortly. The problem of routers is they have software that is not updated. The old versions are more vulnerable and easier to crack,” the expert said.

Hacker gets an IP address and becomes a website admin, while the user fails to enter the website and is directed to an Azerbaijani website.
