YEREVAN. – A resident of Mayisyan village, in the Armavir Province, had given a false report about a bomb at the US Embassy in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.
On August 15 at 12:48pm, Davit Hakobyan, 27, had given false information to the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations, and regarding an explosive device at the US embassy, informed the Police news service.
On the same day, the embassy staff had thanked the Armenian authorities for quickly and effectively responding to the bomb alert.
