Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues has congratulated the people and authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh on the 24th anniversary of the country’s independence, Office of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic in the United States reports.

Specifically, representatives of the Caucus Congressmen Frank Pallone and Robert Dold said: “The formation of the Republic in 1991 opened a path towards freedom and democracy, and your people continue to demonstrate their dedication to these universal values.”

The Congressmen expressed support to Karabakh’s efforts towards international recognition and said they “look forward when it assumes its deserved place in the community of nations.”
