YEREVAN. - Gay marriages are alien to our value system, Hrayr Tovmasyan, member of the Specialized Commission on Constitutional Reforms in Armenia, said at the parliamentary hearings today. He also stressed that same-sex marriages have not been included in the new Constitution.

“We have tried to put it clearly that same-sex marriages are alien to our value system. And by writing about reproduction and proliferation, we meant the following: family is the union between man and woman, who can reproduce. Children are not born from the marriage between two men,” he said.
