YEREVAN. – Deloitte & Touche CIS consulting firm has presented the first-phase results of its audit conducted in the energy sector of Armenia.

Deputy Prime Minister Vache Gabrielyan, who is also the Minister of International Economic Integration and Reforms, stated about the abovementioned at Thursday’s Cabinet session. He noted, however, that the company will also be conducting second and third phases of this audit.

Gabrielyan, making a reference to the first-phase results, said the recent electricity price hike is justified.

But he added that, in the post-Soviet expanse, this tariff is higher solely in Moldova.
