YEREVAN. – Yerevan-based Armenian-Indian Center for Excellence in Information and Communication Technologies held trainings on programming in Armenia’s southern town of Sisian. The manager of the center Emilia Harutyunyan told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent.

“We held trainings on Web and Java programming in Sisian. Karen Hovhannisyan, director of the local Sisian Adult Education center helped with the arrangements. He found us himself and asked to hold trainings, to which we gladly agreed. We sent them “trainers for trainers,” who worked with their local specialists for several weeks. The latter now themselves work with the local students and specialists,” Harutyunyan said.

Recently the managers of the center came from Sisian and brought high school pupils and student with them, so that they could not only hear but also see everything by themselves.

“The adults who brought them also showed them our center, “Tumo” and other centers to make it clear that creating something independently is cool, and this can be done anywhere far from Yerevan,” Harutyunyan said.

The trainers keep in touch with their colleagues from Sisan and are ready to respond to any questions. “They are exactly our colleagues, and not mentees,” she said.
