YEREVAN. – The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) rapporteurs on the Karabakh conflict should not be preconceived.

National Assembly (NA) of Armenia Vice President Hermine Naghdalyan, who also heads the Armenian NA delegation to the PACE, told the abovementioned to reporters on Tuesday. She noted this commenting on the results of the recent fall session of this European organization.

Naghdalyan said Bosnian MP Milica Marković, who is preparing a report on the Sarsang Reservoir in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR; Artsakh), is doing everything to buy time and not to establish direct contact with the Artsakh authorities.

“The rapporteur, even though she is preparing a report about Karabakh, wasted a whole year to avoid contacts with the NKR authorities by all possible means,” stated the Armenian parliament vice speaker.

Hermine Naghdalyan recalled that the title of this report—“Inhabitants of frontier regions of Azerbaijan are deliberately deprived of water”—does not a suggest impartiality.
