The US does not consider Nagorno-Karabakh conflict frozen.

US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta stated the abovementioned, reported the Azerbaijani media.

The US diplomat recalled the words by OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair James Warlick of the US that Washington is very concerned over the escalation of violence on the line of contact between the troops.

He added that Warlick, along with his Russian and French counterparts, is dealing with this matter.

“What we talked to both sides about is that they need to take steps back to improve the situation,” concluded Robert Cekuta. “People think this is a frozen conflict. If people are dying, this is not a frozen conflict. We are trying to work with the parties to find a way forward. All the parties need to take steps to reduce the tensions and help find a way forward.”
