YEREVAN. – The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODIHR) will conduct a full assessment of the lawmaking process in Armenia.
The aforesaid was noted at Tuesday’s talk between the Minister of Justice of Armenia, Arpine Hovhannisyan, and the Chief of OSCE/ODIHR Legislative Support Unit, Alice Thomas.
The parties reflected on the memorandum of understanding that was signed between the Ministry of Justice of Armenia and the OSCE/ODIHR, and along the lies of which this European organization will conduct the said full assessment.
In addition, Hovhannisyan and Thomas discussed the development of the OSCE/ODIHR-assisted roadmap for a regulatory reform in Armenia, and the Armenian ministry’s vision for legislative improvements.
Arpine Hovhannisyan highly praised Ministry of Justice-OSCE/ODIHR cooperation, and informed about her readiness to make this collaboration grow deeper.
