The Turkish nationalists, who are displeased with the Russian airstrikes against the Turkmen jihadists in Syria, threw eggs at the wrong consulate in Istanbul.

The Turkish nationalists assembled in downtown Istanbul on Friday evening, and marched toward the Russian consulate, reported Milliyet daily of Turkey.

But they mistakenly went to the consulate of the Netherlands.

The angry nationalists shouted and threw eggs at the Dutch consulate building.

As a result, the Dutch consul was forced to issue a statement on social networking websites, and inform that these Turkish nationalists were protesting outside the wrong consulate.
