YEREVAN. – The information technology (IT) employers of Armenia wish to establish a profile university in the country.

Chairman of the newly formed ICT (information and communications technology) Employers’ Association, Armen Baldryan, announced the abovementioned at a press conference on Monday.

In his words, the time has come to think about the creation of a new generation university in Armenia with the private sector, and this matter was discussed at the meeting of the IT Development Support Council under the Prime Minister.

“We have come to a shared view on the importance of opening such a university, so that our future employees will be more professional than now,” Baldryan noted.

He added that a working group has been set up along the lines of the aforesaid council, to confer on the founding of this new institution of higher education.
