Karabakh PM Arayik Haroutyunyan today visited Armenian schools in Los Angeles and had meetings with a number of benefactors.

In the framework of his visit, Haroutyunyan visited Holy Martyrs Armenian Ferrahian High School and AGBU Manoogian-Demirdjian School and got acquainted with the conditions and history of the educational institutions. The PM attended the events organized by the pupils and highly appreciated the role of schools for maintaining national identity in the Diaspora.

During the reception organized in the Western coast of the primacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the USA, the PM had meetings with several benefactors and briefed them on the perspectives and conditions of Artsakh’s development. He discussed with those present the opportunities for the cooperation, reaching specific agreements.

At the end of the meeting, the PM urged the benefactors to actively support the telethon scheduled for November 26, during which the money raised will be directed to the development of the country through “Hayastan” All-Armenian fund.
