A concert entitled “Voice of Armenia” took place in central concert hall in China’s Tianjin in memory of the prominent Armenian composer Aram Khachaturyan.   

The concert program was performed by Tianjin symphonic Orchestra, under the leadership of the famous Chinese Director Xieyang Chen.  

Various works of A. Khachaturyan were preformed at the concert, including parts from “Gayane” and “Spartacus” ballets, as well as “Masquerade” suite. The concert was concluded by “Sword dance,” which has gained wide popularity in China.

This unique festival of Armenian music gave the opportunity to once again present the Armenian art in China through Khacaturyan’s melodies.
