YEREVAN. - The political dialogue between Armenia and Serbia has been activated in the recent years. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan said the aformentioned at the meeting with Serbia’s Minister of Defense Bratislav Gašić.   

The President highly appreciated the current level of relations, stressing that in the recent years the economic relations have been activated, the contract and legal framework has been expanded and cooperation in the framework of international organizations has become deeper.  

Sargsyan underscored the importance of the document on the development of cooperation in the sphere of defense, signed by the Minister during his visit.

According to him, the visit of Serbia’s President Tomislav Nikolić to Yerevan in the framework of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide had a great significance for the Armenian people.  

The interlocutors discussed the agenda of bilateral relations, as well as the issues on international and regional security.
