STEPANAKERT. – President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR, or Artsakh), Bako Sahakyan, on Thursday issued a congratulatory message in connection with Prosecutor’s Day, reported the Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President.

“Dear workers and veterans of the Office of Public Prosecutor:

“On behalf of the Artsakh Republic authorities and personally myself, I congratulate all of you on your professional holiday.

“We mark this day every year, and highlight the accountable and demanded work you carry out for our country and in the state-building process of Artsakh.

“The Office of Public Prosecutor is among those structures of our republic which protect the interests of the state and society through daily hard and challenging work, maintain law and order, [and] carry out uncompromising fight against crime. This is why the issues the institution faces are always at the focus of the authorities.

“Everything possible is done to improve your working conditions, [and] to solve the social issues on a continuous basis,” the NKR President’s address runs, in particular.
