Belarus and Azerbaijan intend to contribute to the development of political dialogue between the countries, enhancement of a high-level trust, mutual understanding and multi-dimensional cooperation, says the joint declaration signed by the Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev, BELTA reports.

The presidents underscored the importance of the further cooperation between the two countries on the international arena and decided to contribute to the development of cooperation and coordination of efforts aimed at providing mutual support in the sphere of foreign policy, the declaration reads.

The heads of the two states also signed a document on the socio-economic cooperation between Belarus and Azerbaijani till 2025. The document is aimed at the further enhancement and diversification of ties on the basis of mutual interests, as well as qualitative improvement of life of the two country’s people.
