Armenia's Gegharkunik province also needs its own theatre. Hovhannes Ohanyan, actor at Levon Kalantar Theatre in Armenia's Gavar town, told Armenian News – NEWS.am at the meeting with President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan today.  

In the framework of a working visit to Gegharkunik province, Sargsyan saw over the theatre with the capacity of 420 people, which is constructed to substitute the former 50-60-year-old theatre building.

The actors are now rehearsing not in the best condition – in several cabinets of an old school – but they aren't going to disappoint their spectators.

“We don't stop working. We staged a new performance on October 20. And now we are preparing for a New Year program,” the actor said.
