YEREVAN. – The “Internet ABCs in Armenia,” which is an exclusive teaching initiative for the country’s older generation, was showcased Monday in capital city Yerevan.

The director of Yerevan’s Russian Centre for Science and Culture, Mark Kalinin, noted that it is quite difficult to absorb new knowledge, especially in old age.

“The ‘Internet ABCs in Armenia’ initiative is a very popular project, and on the basis of this material, classes will be held for the audience,” Kalinin added. “We hope that the [respective] foundation placed in Armenia would transform also in the other CIS [i.e. the Commonwealth of Independent States] countries.”
