The Russian governmental commission on lawmaking activities has approved the bills with respect to ratifying the agreements regarding the adoption of uniform precepts and rules on the distribution of medical drugs and products within the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).

According to the Russian government website, these documents will be discussed at the Cabinet session, reported TASS news agency of Russia.

Along with several other obligations, these agreements also specify general requirements, within the framework of the EEU, toward the safety and quality of medical products.

The Eurasian Economic Union member states are Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
