YEREVAN. - Scuffle took place between the Armenian police and participants of the march of the “New Armenia” Public Salvation Front struggling against the constitutional amendments in Yerevan.
The march participants are trying to approach the Headquarters of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), but the police have blocked the access to the building by a human chain. New police forces are approaching the RPA Headquarters. The situation is tense, as reported by Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent.
The leader of opposition “Heritage” party Raffi Hovannisian is holing a bouquet of flowers in his hands, which he is trying to lay at the RPA Headquarters.
The actions of the police are managed by the Yerevan Deputy Chief of Police Valeri Osipyan.
