YEREVAN. – There is nothing new in Turkey’s position on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian, noted the abovementioned at a press conference on Tuesday.

Reflecting on Turkey’s official view that Armenian-Turkish relations cannot be normalized unless the Karabakh conflict is settled, Nalbandian stated that it is odd when, not Armenia, but the successor of the Ottoman Empire, which perpetrated the Armenian Genocide, posits conditions.

“It’s strange,” the Armenian FM said. “Albeit it would be strange to seek logic in Turkey’s rhetoric.”
