The North Korean authorities brought forward their satellite rocket launch time frame from February 14 to Sunday.

The above-said is noted in the information disseminated for international organizations.

On Tuesday, however, North Korea had told the International Maritime Organisation it would launch the rocket some time between February 8 and 25, according to TASS news agency of Russia.

Japan and South Korea said North Korea had issued a Notice to Airmen that the launch would take place some time between Sunday and February 14, according to Reuters news agency.

Japan has said it would shoot down the rocket if it threatens the country, and in response to the revised launch time frame, on Saturday accelerated the deployment of two additional PAC-3 missile units, a Japanese defense ministry official said.
