YEREVAN. - Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian today met with President Maja Gojković of the NA of Serbia.  

Welcoming the guest, Nalbandian highly praised the historical and traditionally friendly ties between the two peoples, which also serve as a good basis for the development of cooperation between Armenia and Serbia.

For her part, Ms Maja Gojković noted that Serbia attaches great importance to the process of developing ties with friendly Armenia, and she is happy to be the first Serbian NA President to have visited Armenia.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues on enhancing the relations between the parliaments of the two countries, as well as effective cooperation in the framework of the parliamentary assemblies of international organizations.

Nalbandian also presented to the guest the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs towards the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
