YEREVAN. – If violations occur in the 102nd Russian Military Base in Gyumri, the violators shall be held accountable.

Minister of Defense of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan on Tuesday told the aforementioned to reporters, and after his talk with the students and faculty at Yerevan State University.

“We [i.e. Armenia] cooperate with the 102nd Military Base,” Ohanyan noted. “The base enters into the composition of the joint military detachment, and within the framework of our collaboration, we are constantly working not only with our operational teams, but also with the local population, to enhance communication.

“Quite a lot garrison measures are implemented, and these works create an appropriate climate.”
