STEPANAKERT. - Karabakh-French contacts saw an evident invigoration last year.

Karabakh National Assembly Speaker Ashot Ghoulian said the aforementioned today.

The subsequent session of the Karabakh-French Friendship Group took place today. The Permanent Representative of Karabakh to France Hovhannes Gevorgyan also attended the session.

Ashot Ghoulian, who is also the head of the Karabakh-France Friendship Circle, attached importance to meetings in such a format, noting that Karabakh-French contacts saw an apparent invigoration last year: first, the Friendship Circle was established and then French Days in Artsakh were held.

Mr Ghoulian especially underscored the role of the Karabakh mission in France in maintaining and developing bilateral ties.

Summing up the results of the cooperation between France and Artsakh this year, Hovhannes Gevorgyan noted that according to him one of the key achievements was the establishment of direct links and multi-lateral cooperation, which aims to make Artsakh visible in international relations.

Responding to the question of the Circle members, Gevorgyan attached importance to the implementation of long-term projects, which will be directed at both training specialists and solving a range of economic and social issues.

As a result of exchange of ideas, the Action Plan of Karabakh-France Friendship Circle was outlined.
