YEREVAN. – The Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) of Armenia wants to continue the grant programs for the high-tech projects in the country, EIF Director Bagrat Yengibaryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

At present, information technology (IT) and hi-tech startups in Armenia receive grants within the framework of the World Bank’s E-Society and Innovation for Competitiveness (EIC) Project for Armenia; this project, however, will end in June.

A total of 34 startup IT and hi-tech companies in Armenia have received assistance from the EIC Project, within a year.

“We plan to continue the project with the assistance of the European Union,” Yengibaryan added. “The terms will be the same. We just don’t know how many beneficiaries we can have this year.”
