The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) reacts, reacted, and will react to any actions that have an impact on the security situation of its allies.

Secretary General of the CSTO, Nikolay Bordyuzha, stated the above-said at a videoconference on Friday.

He noted this responding to the query on why this organization does not react to the situation when Azerbaijan is firing at the positions of Armenia.

“There is a need to get familiarized with the statements of the CSTO Collective Security Council, with the statements of the ministers, in which a reflection is made to the situation in the Caucasus,” Bordyuzha added. “We have said that the aggravation of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is impermissible. I believe the statements we made over these years are sufficient, and I don’t think that this situation somehow affects the standing or reputation of the organization.”
