STEPANAKERT. – The adversary continued violating the ceasefire along the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces, from Friday to early Saturday morning.

During this time the Azerbaijani armed forces fired over 900 shots at the Armenian military positions, and by way of rifle weaponry.

The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Ministry of Defense informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that, aside from the aforementioned, the adversary made use of mortars in an easterly direction of the NKR Defense Army.

As a result of the retaliatory measures taken by the Defense Army vanguards units, however, Azerbaijan’s aggressive “activeness” was quelled.
