The Americans for Artsakh (AFA) organization strongly condemns Azerbaijan’s violation of ceasefire along the Line of Contact with Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh).

AFA Executive Director Noel Thompson noted that Azerbaijan’s provocations along the Line of Contact results in casualties, and this is revolting, and it must end.

The organization called upon the Azerbaijani government to stop its aggressive policy, and resume the constructive dialogue with Nagorno-Karabakh.

Also, the AFA urged the Azerbaijan authorities to respect the ceasefire agreement, which they had signed in 1994 with Nagorno-Karabakh and Armenia. 

In addition, the Americans for Artsakh organization joined US Congressmen Ed Royce’s and Eliot Engel’s proposal addressed to the co-chairs of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group, and with respect to publicly condemning specific acts of aggression.
