YEREVAN. – The Minister of Agriculture of Armenia, Sergo Karapetyan, on Monday received Israeli Agriculture and Rural Development Ministry official Efrat Hadas, and BINA Consulting and Management Services representative Yoav Gal.
The Ministry of Agriculture of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am informed that the Israeli delegation is in capital city Yerevan to conduct a training course on agricultural policy.
“Israel’s rich track-record in the domain of the development of the agriculture sector (…) is extremely important for our country,” Karapetyan noted. “I’m convinced that this course will be very interesting and useful for all participants.”
Also, the minister stressed that there is great unrealized potential between the two countries in agriculture.
The guests, for their part, presented Sergo Karapetyan the main topics and methodology of this training course.
The Armenian agriculture minister, in turn, wished success and effective work to the training participants.
Aside from such training courses, consulting and assistance are expected to be provided to the Ministry of Agriculture of Armenia, as well as seminars and meetings are planned to be organized with the heads of relevant departments.
