YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Armenia “Survey for Seismic Protection” Agency registered a 2.5-magnitude earthquake in the country, on Thursday at 7:54am Armenia Standard Time.
MES informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the hypocenter of this tremor was 10km beneath the surface.
It measured a magnitude of 3 to 4 at the epicenter.
The seismic activity was felt in Stepanavan town and nearby settlements, likewise with a magnitude of 3 to 4.
