Faisal Cheffou, detained in Belgium on suspicion of the terrorist attack at Brussels airport, earlier worked as an independent journalist, Gazeta reports, citing Die Welt.

Specifically, Cheffou published articles in Journal du Musulman. It’s also informed that one of the suspect’s last year reports was devoted to the Moroccan prisoners, who were banned to eat according to the rules of holy month of Ramadan.

As reported earlier, charges were brought against the suspect of the terrorist attack at Brussels airport.

Two explosions occurred Tuesday morning at Brussels Zaventem airport. The Belgian prosecutor’s office confirmed that a suicide bomber had carried out this attack.

Shortly thereafter, there were more explosions in the Schuman and Maalbeek subway stations of the Belgian capital city.

These terrorist acts have claimed over 30 lives and injured more than 300 people. ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
