STEPANAKERT. – The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Defense Army informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that Defense Army serviceman Marat Danielyan, 32, sustained a fatal gunshot wound, on Thursday at around 6:30am.
He was mortally wounded in a northerly (Talish village) direction of the Line of Contact between the opposing forces, and as a result of the aggressive action by the Azerbaijani armed forces.
An investigation is underway to find out the details of this incident.
“The NKR Ministry of Defense informs that the full accountability for the exacerbation of the situation at the frontline falls upon the Azerbaijani side,” the respective statement reads.
