In the current situation yielding even an inch of land of is out of question, said Seyran Ohanyan, the Armenian Defense Minister, in an interview with reporters in Tsitsernakaberd.

"What is the talk about? Nothing of the kind. In order to resolve the  Karabakh conflict first of all we need to have appropriate conditions and an atmosphere of trust . In the current situation, yielding even an inch of land of is out of question.  There should be a bilateral consensus for a possible resolution of the conflict, "said Ohanyan .

The minister also added: " We must do everything to ensure the preservation of the ceasefire and creation of an atmosphere of trust , formation of the mechanisms of international investigations , which will be the basis of the further progress in the negotiations."

According Seyranyan today both the Armed Forces of Armenia and the NKR Defense Army are ready to reflect any kind of encroachments. "Today the Armenian army is ready to implement the tasks set before us. The reforms that have been implemented during the recent years and the plan of the Armed Forces’ development correspond to the nature of today’s war. There are some priorities that we now are focusing on . We will not allow any pressure on the Karabakhi people, and we will not allow what had happened 101 years ago to happen again" ,  the Defence Minister said.
