STEPANAKERT. - The Azerbaijani army tried to hit the military equipment located deep in the Karabakh Defense Army Saturday, but missed by over 100 m despite using super accurate SPIKE MR/LR antitank missile system.

The Azerbaijani propaganda machine continuously looks for new ways to conceal the failures of its own army, which, however, reveal the empty nature of the adversary’s propaganda theses, Karabakh Defense Army press-service reports. During the four-day war, the Azeris disseminated misinformation on the “liberation” of Talish and Mataghis villages. Numerous Armenian and foreign journalists, who had the opportunity to work in the mentioned villages those days, not only personally dealt with the subsequent Azerbaijani lie, but also showed the adversary’s genuine face to the world.

The second senseless trick of the Azerbaijani propaganda machine was the announcement about the death or serous wounds of famous high-ranking Armenian servicemen. Even before the April war, the Azerbaijani propaganda machine had managed to “kill”Col. J. Harutyunyan. During the four-day war, he was joined by Lieutenant General M. Hakobyan and a number of high-ranking servicemen. Of course, on the day following the “killings”, their live interviews were quite sufficient for revealing the style of the Azerbaijani propaganda machine, based on blatant and apparent lie. But on April 23, the Azeris also announced that Col. A. Melkumyan was seriously wounded, whereas the latter is currently diligently fulfilling his service responsibilities.

Interestingly enough, on the same day the Azerbaijani army received painful attacks as a result of its own provocations. Apparently, to relieve the pain, they considered the announcement on the alleged annihilated Armenian tank as insufficient and decided to speculate the name of Melkumyan.
