The FBI arrested a group of five men suspected of stealing personal information , fraud , and money laundering in Santa Ana. The suspects are  citizens of Armenia, Georgia, and the Czech Republic . According to the federal prosecutor of Los Angeles the FBI arrested 34 -year-old Edward Astvatsatryan from Glendale , 24 -year-old Hripsime Avagyan from Burbank , 46 -year-old Armen Mkrtchyan from Glendale , 54 -year-old Sarkis Tabadzhyan from the West Hollywood , and 31 -year-old Artash Stepanyan from Glendale .

According to the source, the resident of Glendale Edward Astvatsatryan opened at least 17 bank accounts to transfer illegally earned money together with his accomplices. The police are also looking for 43 -year-old Mkhitar Mkrtchyan from Sylmar , 45 -year-old Karen Poghosyan from Sun Valley , 23-year-old Constantine Galstyan from Sylmar , Jane Doe, and John Doe , who, according to the prosecutors’ office , are involved in tax and bank frauds .

As representatives of the law enforcement agencies inform the actions of the detainees caused IRS a damage in the amount of $ 14 million .
