YEREVAN. – In 2015, a total of 73 billion Armenian drams (approx. US$152 million)-worth of charitable projects were implemented in Armenia, Government Chief of Staff-Minister Davit Harutyunyan stated at Thursday’s Cabinet session. 

He added that, overall, 130 organizations have carried out these charitable projects in the country.

A total of 32 percent of these projects were implemented in the social sector, 23 percent—in the cultural sector, 20 percent—in municipal development, 7 percent—in urban development, 6 percent—in education, and 3.6 percent—in health care.
