North Korea attempted to fire a missile from its eastern coast, but the launch ended in failure, South Korean Yonhap agency reported.

According to the sources in Seoul, the attempt involved an intermediate-range Musudan missile. According to the estimates of the South Korean military, rocket fell in a few seconds after the launch that was carried out from the eastern coast of North Korea.

A source of the agency stated that it is likely to claim that the launch failed. Military experts of South Korea and the US carry out a detailed assessment of the incident, Lenta reported.

North Korean previous attempt took place on April 15 and also ended with a failure. Later, on April 24, North Korea conducted a launch of a ballistic missile from a submarine.
