YEREVAN. - Famous Russian conductor and violinist Vladimir Spivakov and "Moscow Virtuosi" State Chamber Orchestra  performed in front of Yerevan audience at Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall Thursday (photos).

The first piece played was Amadeus Mozart’s Divertimento No 3 in F major, this being followed by Luigi Boccherini’s Symphony in D minor.

Young pianist Alexandra Stychkina also performed on the same stage, immediately attracting everyone’s attention.  The musicians played Joseph Haydn’s “Concert for piano No 11 in D major”.

During the second part of the program, the orchestra played Dmitry Shostakovich’s “Chamber symphony” and “Elegy and polka”.

By the end of the concert, which lasted for two hours, the public didn’t want to part with the maestro and called the musicians for an encore thrice.
