Suspicious white powder was discovered at Trump Tower, in New York City,  owned by the US presidential candidate Donald Trump. Six people , including a police officer , were isolated, reports Daily News with a reference to the statement of the Fire Department press -secretary. Currently, the law enforcement agencies are trying to find out whether the powder posed a threat or not. CBS citing the source reported that the powder was in the envelope delivered by mail.

The envelope was opened on the floor where the presidential campaign volunteers make calls and receive correspondence, RBC reports. As NBC notes in March 32 -year-old Trump’s son Eric received an envelope with powder and a threatening note. Later, it was found out that the content of the message was not toxic. But note stated that if Trump does not end his presidential campaign, he will receive another envelope with hazardous substances.
