Armenia is ranked 52nd in the Digital Diplomacy Rating 2016 , an assessment of 1,098 digital diplomacy assets used by 210 MFAs worldwide.

The rating is realized by using both qualitative and quantitative data produced by MFAs. Providing an in-depth analysis of publicly open digital diplomacy assets, this survey examines websites, mobile apps and social networks and the ways in which they are used to conduct digital diplomacy affairs.

Armenia has a good position in the list and leaves behind regional countries Georgia (65), Azerbaijan (73) and Iran (112). Armenia is the third among post-Soviet states (except the Baltic states) after Ukraine (11) and Russia (4).
