Turkey, unlike Ukraine, Georgia, and Kosovo, will not get privileges on its road to visa liberalization.

Johannes Hahn, European Union (EU) Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, stated about the aforesaid, according to RFE/RL.

He expressed a hope that in 2016, the Georgians, Ukrainians, and Kosovar will be able to enter the EU countries without visas, since they have performed their respective tasks.

The Council of Europe and the European Parliament shall approve visa liberalization for Turkey, Ukraine, Georgia, and Kosovo.
