YEREVAN. – The Azerbaijani aggression did not affect Armenia’s economy, Minister of Economy Artsvik Minasyan told reporters, after Thursday’s cabinet meeting.

In his words, the tax revenues increased in part from January to April, since April is the time for the payment of the advance of the income tax.

Minasyan added that Armenia’s revenues from tourism are also quite stable. Accordingly, a 5-percent growth was recorded in tourist visits in the first quarter of 2016. Even though the respective pace slowed down a bit in April, it picked up again in May.
