Google at I/O press conference in Mountain View, California, presented the second version of Android Wear operating system, which runs on wristwatches. The company uploaded a live transmission of the event on its website.
The key novelty of devices operating with Android Wear 2.0 is their ability to connect to Wi-Fi- and mobile networks without a smartphone, launch apps.
According to creators, the new addition to the device will allow to follow its owner health and to text more closely. In addition, the system has a keyboard which allows to enter words with a finger touch .
By means of Android Wear 2.0 the user will be able to get information from any application in the display supported by the smart watch. The system will be offered for sale in the fall of 2016 , Lenta reports.
Android Wear- first version appeared in markets in the spring of 2014. Dozens of wrist watches, namely `Moto 360- a , LG G Watch- and Huawei Watch, work based on their operating systems.
