YEREVAN. -- The import of Turkish goods to Armenia should be suspended, said Levon Achemyan, the head of the National Consumers ' Union under Agricultural Department, on May 20 at a press conference.

According to him, the economy of Armenia will not suffer from that.

“We must find ways to export our products to other countries,” stressed Achemyan. In his view, it is necessary to control the import of Turkish goods.

“Turkey is a hostile country. The products we import from Turkey may contain harmful pesticides. Therefore, we need to control, particularly agricultural products imported from Turkey,” said Levon Atchemyan.
