YEREVAN. – The unexpected storm, which hit Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan on Monday afternoon, completely blew off the rooftop of a residential building in Shengavit District.

Also, the residents told Armenian News-NEWS.am that their homes are filled with water, as a result of the heavy rain after the strong winds.

The building residents are in a desperate situation.

The condominium service representatives had urged them to contact the district administration office, and subsequently, to Yerevan Municipality.

“We are all socially disadvantaged,” the building residents stated. “We can’t repair the roof by our [financial] means.”

The blown-off rooftop of this building had fallen on a busy street, and the residents themselves had collected the broken tin plates.
