YEREVAN. - A ceremony of signing an agreement between Armenia and Japan on providing $2 mln grant took place at the Armenian MFA Wednesday.

The document was signed by Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Haykaram Mkhitaryan and Japanese Ambassador to Armenia Eiji Taguchi.

The amount will be directed to the struggle with emergency situations. The goal of the program is to gratuitously transfer to developing countries the production manufactured in the Japanese regions which suffered from earthquake in 2011.
