YEREVAN. – The agreement on mutual assistance between Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) is at the development phase. 

Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian noted the abovementioned during his report at Thursday’s joint session of the National Assembly committees, and regarding the “performance” of the 2015 State Budget of Armenia.

In his words, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been instructed to prepare this agreement, and the respective further steps will depend on the current processes and relevant factors.

“These processes are quite complicated,” Nalbandian added. “And considering all this, the top leadership of our country will arrive at a conclusion, as a result of discussions with the colleagues in Karabakh, as to when this can be done.”
