The Saudi Arabia's Supreme Commission for Scientific Research and Religious Affairs Law banned selfies with cats and games with cartoons of the Japanese Pokemon,  reports Lenta referring to Newsweek.  It was Sheikh Salah Al-Fazwan who banned the residents of Saudi Arabia to take pictures with pets.  According to the theologians’ board member taking pictures with animals is a sign of bowing to the western culture.

“The cats don’t matter here. Taking pictures is prohibited if not for a necessity. Not with cats, not with dogs, not with wolves, not with anything,” said Al-Fazwan.  As for the cards with pictures of Pokemons,  they directly contradict to the Islamic beliefs , whereas the games are not only a waste of time , but also incorporate ideas of Zionism and encourages gambling.
