The team of Swedish scientists studied the graves on a big cemetery of the Bronze Age and found that at that time women often married men from other districts, Gazeta reported.

The geneticists investigated the cemetery located in the territory of modern Germany. At the cemetery there were buried men, women and children of the Bronze Age.

As a result, scientists found out that nearly a half of the women buried on a cemetery were born in other districts and most likely moved after the marriage. According to the researchers, their findings suggest that in ancient times people were much more mobile than it was considered earlier.
